Heading east on highway 2, as you pass through Monroe you will see a sign, "South 203 Duvall/Fall City".  Take a right there.  Drive through Monroe until you pass over the Lewis Street Bridge.  After the bridge, second turn to the left is Ben Howard Road.  Take that left.  About two miles down Ben Howard Road, you will come to the gate of the Ben Howard boat launch.  Entrance to Ben Howard

The ramp itself is stable hard pack that leads out on to the gravel/rock bar.Ramp at Ben Howard  During low flows it possible to drive out onto it with 2 wheel drive and launch your boat.  This is also where All About The Fly has their casting classes and demos on Sunday mornings with Mike Kinney and crew.  The picture shows the flows at about 700 c.f.s.  If you do drive around on the bar, be careful not to run over anyone's gear.  During periods of high flow, the water will come up to the ramp.
